JORHAT, Oct 8 - Jorhat Swimming Society with 21 medals including 12 gold, four silver and five bronze medals secured the third position in the 3rd All India Inter Club Swimming Competition held at Sonipat, Haryana from October 4 to 7.
The national event was organised by the Swimming Federation of India where 20 clubs from different parts of the country took part. Dolphin Aquatics, Bengaluru; SGTIDM, New Delhi and Jorhat Swimming Society clinched top three positions in the meet.
The medal winners for the Jorhat team are: Sanskar Bhuyan (2 gold), Angshruta Hazarika (1 gold, 1 bronze), Manali Misra (1 silver, 1 bronze), Subhransini Priyadarshini (3 gold), Sankalpa Kashyap (1 gold, 2 bronze), Anushuya Borah (2 gold), Angshuman Kashyap (2 gold), Relay (1 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze).
