J&K colts score 250

GUWAHATI, Dec 1 � Jammu and Kashmir scored 250 in their first innings on the opening day of the four-day U-19 Cooch Behar Trophy match at Assam Cricket Association stadium, Barsapara here today.

At close, Assam were 40 for one. Kaushik Giri and Roshan Alam were at the crease with 15 and 4 respectively.

The visiting team managed to score the satisfactory total riding on their opener Ahmed Banday�s 94-ball 89. Abhinab Puri and PA Sharma were the other notable contributors with 33 and 24 respectively. For Assam, Roshan Alam chipped in four wickets while Biku Borgohain took two.
