Javadekar arrives in Manipur

IMPHAL, Jan 8 - Union Minister for Environment, Forest & Climate Change (Independent) Prakash Javadekar arrived here on Friday on a two-day visit to Manipur as part of his week-long trip to Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

Soon after arriving here, he drove straight to BJP Manipur Pradesh office for a brief party meeting followed by an interaction with farmers on jhum cultivation at State Forest department complex here. The Minister will visit Kangla Fort, Loktak Lake and inspect the Keibul Lamjao, India�s only floating national park, tomorrow.
