Japanese students visit city college

GUWAHATI, Jan 30 - Karmashree Hiteswar Saikia College organised a students� interactive programme on Thursday with three visiting students from Japan, said a press release.

Principal of the college Dr Sikhamoni Konwar who inaugurated the programme, threw light on the significance of bilateral ties and exchange programmes between India and Japan.

One of the visiting students Kohei Kimura, who delivered his speech in Hindi, spoke on the work culture of the Japanese people. The other two visiting students Tatsuya Nakao and Nozomi Nyuwa spoke on the geography and education system of Japan respectively. The interactive session was attended by the students, teachers and alumni of the college.

All the three students were from Ehime University, Japan, the release further said.
