DIMAPUR, April 4 - The incessant heavy rains, accompanied by squalls and storms, occurring in almost all districts of Nagaland for last one week, have disrupted normal life, besides damaging property and crops. However, there was no report of any human casualty.

There were no major damages in Dimapur and Kohima, except for some fallen trees and uprooting of a few rooftops. In Kohima, tin roofs of a newly constructed house at Hospital Colony were blown off by the strong wind.

The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority has said it was compiling reports from various districts of the State.
