IMPHAL, July 3 - Low-lying areas in Imphal continue to face flash flood owing to the seasonal downpour throwing life out of gear for the second day on Sunday.
Though normal vehicular movement has resumed on Imphal-Ukhrul road after removal of debris, movement of vehicles were reportedly affected due to landslides at Sehjang along Imphal-Silchar highway, reports said.
Owing to the overflowing Nambul river, low-lying areas in Imphal including Uripok have been inundated. Officials of Irrigation and Flood Control department said, Imphal river is in spate.
