AIZAWL, Aug 6 - Non-tribals travelling to Mizoram by train can now get Inner Line Permit (ILP) at Bairabi Railway Station from today, according to an official statement.

The ILP counter has been started at Bairabi Rail Station by Kolasib District Deputy Commissioner.

The counter was established after a broad gauge train service commenced at Bairabi station from neighbouring Assam recently.

ILP is issued under the Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulations, 1873, and all non-tribals need to procure the ILP to enter Mizoram and a few other Northeastern States. PTI
