NEW DELHI, Aug 10 Prime Minister Manmnohan Singh has assured that illegal arms in BTAD areas would be seized soon, even as AIUDF set a deadline of August 15 for repatriation of all victims of the carnage.

A 12-member delegation of main Opposition AIUDF led by its president, Badruddin Ajmal on Friday called on the Prime Minister, the Union Home Minister and Congress president, Sonia Gandhi. Gunning for Chief Minister, Tarun Gogois head, Ajmal demanded his dismissal and dissolution of the BTC.

The Prime Minister has assured us that all illegal arms in BTAD area would be seized soon, claimed Ajmal, talking to newsmen.

AIUDF, which is an alliance partner of UPA-II Government at the Centre, has been leading the attack against the State Government and the Bodo leaders, alleging that Tarun Gogoi Government was involved in the conspiracy against the minorities.
