Top four teams have qualified for the knock-out semifinals. Top position holder Guwahati played against fourth team Nagaon while second position holder Silchar took on third team Bongaigaon. In the semifinals, at Barsapara, Guwahati thrashed Nagaon by a massive margin of 767 runs while at Mangaldai, Bongaigaon got the better of Silchar by calling the toss of a coin right even as the first innings were not completed due to bad weather.
