SHILLONG, Sept 23 - Indian Air Force (IAF) is organising the �Air Festival 2016� at Advanced Landing Ground of Eastern Air Command at Upper Shillong to celebrate its 84th anniversary.
�This year the Air Fest will be held for three days instead of normal two days from September 30 to October 2 to facilitate the people of Shillong, especially students to witness the show,� IAF sources said.
During the festival, there would be fly past by fighter aircrafts, para sailing, aero modelling, static display of aircraft, slithering operation of the Special IAF Force �Garud� and performance by IAF band.
There would also be food stalls and the fest will be open from 10 am to 4 pm.
