GUWAHATI, Feb 29 � Police has launched a manhunt to nab a �Mizo driver�, who according to investigators, was driving the vehicle from which the grenade was lobbed on Tuesday evening.
Police is now conducting searches in all possible locations, where the Mizo driver could be holed up.
As far as the vehicle is concerned, top police sources claimed that they have almost zeroed in on the vehicle which was used to trigger the blast, although �it could not be confirmed officially at this time�.
�We are almost there and very soon the culprits should be behind bars,� a senior Assam Police official told The Assam Tribune.
Sources also divulged that the vehicle was apparently boarded by more than two persons.
Security in and around Guwahati was reviewed following grenade blast on Tuesday evening at Ganeshguri area.
