GUWAHATI, Feb 9 - The High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) will begin from tomorrow.
This year, altogether 3,48,739 candidates will appear in the HSLC examination, while 9,707 candidates will appear in the AHM examination to be held in 806 centres, sources at the SEBA said.
To prevent any kind of malpractice during the examination, the Board has already installed CCTV cameras in all the centres. It has also imposed a ban on use of mobile phone or any other electronic device inside the examination hall by both students and invigilators. The SEBA will also provide Braille paper for the visually impaired candidates.
The examinations will end on February 29. Governor Jagdish Mukhi and Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal have extended their best wishes to the candidates.
