Hindi Pakhwada at BSF Guwahati Frontier observed

GUWAHATI, Sept 22 - The Border Security Force, Guwahati Frontier, observed �Hindi Pakhwada� on the occasion of �Hindi Diwas� recently in its headquarters and field formations in Dhubri, Cooch Behar and Falakata with enthusiasm to create awareness and encourage the troops to read and write Hindi.

On this occasion, Piyush Mordia, Inspector General, BSF, Guwahati, emphasised the importance of promoting the use of Hindi in offices and encouraged the staff to learn and arm themselves with the efficiency in Hindi reading, writing and speaking. He also urged and encouraged the jawans to enhance and enrich their Hindi speaking and writing skills.

During the occasion, essay, quiz, Hindi to English vocabulary, Hindi text typing and Hindi noting competitions were conducted at the Frontier HQ here at Patgaon.

Mordia presented trophies to the winners who secured positions in the competitions.
