Himanta unwell, on rest

GUWAHATI, June 14 - Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was today detected with kidney stone ailment at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital. Sources at the GMCH said his condition was not critical and he would not require any surgery.

Sarma, who has been in the frontline in the battle against COVID-19 in Assam, took to Twitter and wrote, �...doctors in GMCH have detected a kidney stone... Taking saline and injections to overcome the pain. Will take rest for the day.�

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and thousands of Sarma�s followers in Twitter wished him speedy recovery.
