GUWAHATI, Jan 25 � Gauhati Town Club (GTC) made it to the last-four stage of the Bud Challenge Cricket Meeti in memory of Jugal Kishore Newatia.
In their last group league match at the Nehru Stadium here today, GTC outplayed Bud Cricket Club B team by a big margin of 154 runs.
Opting to bat first, GTC gathered a commendable total of 230 for six in the allotted 40 overs and shot out the oponent for 76 in 24.2 overs.
Man-of-the-match Deep Bora top scored with 69 for Town.
