Governor visits Krishnaguru varsity

BARPETA, Aug 5 - Governor of Assam Professor Jagadish Mukhi has expressed satisfaction over the functioning of Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Viswavidyalay at Nasatra in Barpeta district.

Addressing a gathering on the playground of the university on August 3 morning held on the ocassion of the first foundation day of the university, Mukhi said that the vocational courses introduced by the university will definitely help the unemployed youth to find a� honourable job in the competitive world. Mukhi also lauded the university authority for introducing Master Degree course in various subjects.

The meeting was chaired by Mukul Chandra Deka, president of the International Krishnaguru Management Committee. Dr Tarun Chandra Bora, Vice-Chancellor of the university delivered the welcome address where he presented a detailed account of the one year journey of the university.
