Gohain elected NSA president

NAGAON, Aug 20 - The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Nagaon Sports Association (NSA) was held here today which was presided by Allok Goswami. The meeting accepted the resignation of former president Rockybul Hussain who resigned recently and unanimously elected central minister Rajen Gohain as president.

In place of Zakir Hussain, MLA Rupok Sarma was elected as vice president while Ujjal Borooah replaced Nasiruddin Ahmed as football secretary. The ID Cup football tournament this year will be held during the first half of October and the NSA is looking forward to ensure participation of national and international teams, Gohain said.
