GOC 4 Corps calls on Arunachal Governor

ITANAGAR, Dec 14 - Lt General A S Bedi, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Indian Army�s 4 Corps called on Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brigadier B D Mishra (retd) at Raj Bhavan in Itanagar on Thursday. They discussed border security issues pertaining to Arunachal Pradesh.

The Governor appreciated the alertness and activities of the troops of 4 Corps.

The Governor expressed his confidence about the security apparatus and felt happy about the initiatives taken by the Army for maintaining peace and tranquility in the region.

He was assured by the GoC that the Armed Forces are reaching out to the people and have cordial relationships with them through awareness campaigns, health camps and educational initiatives.
