GMIT website hacking case

GUWAHATI, Jan 7 � Azara Police has registered a case in connection with the hacking of official website of Grijananda Institute of Management and Technology a few days back.

The website of GMIT was hacked by a Pakistani hacking group and it even defaced it with a threat message. The same hacker community was also responsible for hacking the website of the world famous Meenakshi temple.

The Criminal Investigation Department will provide technical support to get to the roots of the case. A number of websites belonging to different firms were hacked by groups, allegedly run by anti-national forces.
