GUWAHATI, March 14 - Acting on a tip-off from a group of lawyers, police today rescued a minor girl who was allegedly brought to Guwahati for marriage. The 12-year-old was spotted near the Gauhati High Court. Police have detained three persons in this connection. They have been identified as Salman Ali, Eunuf Ali and Samsul Haque � all hailing from Goroimari.
Sources said that Eunuf Ali happens to be a village headman.
