Gaura Purnima Mahotsava tomorrow

GUWAHATI, Feb 28 - The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Guwahati is organising Gaura Purnima Mahotsava with a daylong programme on the premises of Sri Sri Rukmini Krishna Mandir cum Cultural Complex at South Sarania on March 2.

The programme will start in the morning with Harinaam Sankirtan by the temple devotees after the Mangal Arati. It will be followed by Chaitanya Pushpa Holy Yatra and Nagar Sankirtan by the devotees and congregation members of ISKCON from Ganesh Mandir near Planetarium to ISKCON Temple via Chenikuthi, Silpukhuri, Pratidin office and Gandhibasti carrying the deity of Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in a flower decorated dola.

In the evening at 5.30pm, there will be abhishek of Gauranga Mahaprabhu as per Vedic system along with Bhajan-Kirtan, Gauranga Lila Katha, Sandhya Arati and a short devotional and cultural function. The programme will end with distribution of prasadam to all the assembled devotees.
