KOHIMA, June 10 - Four trekkers, who lost their way while returning from the picturesque Dzukou valley, were rescued by a team of Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA).

The trekkers, who hailed from Golaghat Commerce College in Assam, had gone to the Dzukou valley in Kohima district on June 5. They lost their way while returning through Jakhama on June 7, NSDMA officer on special duty Johnny Ruangmei said.

On receipt of information, Kohima District Disaster Management Authority, a wing of NSDMA, sent an eight-member search and rescue team to the area.

After almost four hours of rigorous search, the team brought them safely from the jungles the same night, he said. PTI
