Fortnightly of Govt PR Dept released

GUWAHATI, March 18 - The new-look Raijor Batori, a fortnightly publication of the Information and Public Relations Department, was released at a function at the State Secretariat here by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.

Addressing the gathering, Sonowal said the journal should not only publish government views but also reflect the opinion of all sections of people, and �only then it can live up to its name�.

The CM also released a book Scheduled Tribes of Assam written by researcher Tabu Ram Taid and published by the I&PR department. Commissioner & Secretary (I&PR) LS Changsan, CM�s media adviser Hrishikesh Goswami, CM�s law adviser Shantanu Bharali, adviser of the fortnightly DN Chakravartty and editor Bhupendra N Bhattacharyya were present on the occasion, a press release stated.
