GUWAHATI, April 24 - Josodhar Sarmah, who retired as the in-charge of The Assam Tribune advertisement section on January 31 last year, passed away last night. He was 65.
Sarmah suffered a stroke at his Sachal residence here last night after which he was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
Born on February 1, 1953, Sarmah had joined The Assam Tribune Group as a proof reader on May 1, 1977.
He leaves behind his wife and son.
Sarmah�s mortal remains were today brought to The Assam Tribune premises where his former colleagues paid their last respects to the departed soul. He was cremated at the Nabagraha crematorium later.
