GUWAHATI, Jan 4 � Conservationist and Forest Man of India Jadav Payeng has featured in the seventh calendar designed and developed by Utpal Dutta and Dhanjit Das.
Developed with the objective of highlighting the State�s heritage and eminent personalities, the calendar seeks to strike a different note and has so far featured people like Homen Bargohain, Biren Datta, Dipali Barthakur and Nilpawan Baruah, and Birubala Rabha besides the Dima Hasao district and Sattriya dance.
During the formal release of the calendar which is distributed free, Payeng expressed satisfaction at highlighting the State�s invaluable natural wealth through the calendar and said that the message of conservation should spread to every nook and corner.
