GUWAHATI, Aug 22 - The Guwahati based United Brothers Club (UBC) has started a football academy, named-Football Gurukul at the Panbari TE, near Dhekiajuli.
Stating this in a press release, the UBC president Pronoy Bordoloi said they have picked up 40 youngsters in the age group of 8 to 13 years from the nearby area of Dhekiajuli and a coach has been deployed for imparting training to the selected players. The UBC is also taking up various schemes for the development of the game in the State, added the release.
