Food distributed among stranded rly passengers

GUWAHATI, Dec 15 - Harekrishna Movement, Guwahati, and the Airports Authority of India (AAI) today jointly distributed free food among the passengers stranded at the Guwahati Railway Station.

�Around 2,000 people were provided lunch and dinner today. Sanjeev Jindal,�Regional Executive Director�of AAI, Northeast�Region, and other officials were present at the meal distribution programme. We had provided free meals to stranded passengers yesterday as well,� one of the distributors said.

Train services in the region have been out of gear since December 10 on account of the agitation against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act.
