GUWAHATI, Aug 16 - A flood relief campaign was organised by the Photography Club of Assam (PCA) during its recent Assam Photography Convention, �Pohor 2016�.
Relief materials were collected during the convention and distributed among 70 families in Mayong review circle near the Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary with the help of Ashok Kumar Das, Ranger of the sanctuary, Himangshu Lahkar and Arpan Kalita along with senior members of the Club.
Meanwhile, Samriddhi, a city-based NGO, distributed relief materials, mostly foodstuff, among the flood-affected people of Pabhakati Kacharigaon in Morigaon district on Sunday. It also organised a free health camp for the flood-affected people and distributed medicines, said a press release here.
