Flood relief camp

GUWAHATI, Oct 1 � A flood relief camp was organised by the students and faculty members of Gauhati Commerce College on September 28 in five major flood- affected villages of Boko area � Dilinga, Sonapur, Dirima, Nowapara and Mouchowa.

The affected people were provided with food items, clothes and other necessary requirements, a press release stated.

A group of eight students under the supervision of Prof Panchanan Barman lent their helping hand in the distribution of the relief materials with a view to consoling the helpless people at the time of their distress caused by the devastating floods, the release added.
