Fake notes seized

DHUBRI, March 17 - The officials of Border Security Force (BSF) recovered fake currency notes of new denomination worth Rs 4,40,000 near the fence of Kushnimari border outpost recently.

The officials of 57 Battalion of BSF confirmed that they have recovered a packet containing 220 pieces of Rs 2000 notes during their morning patrolling near the border.

However, the security personnel could not apprehend anyone as they saw the bag being thrown from the Bangladesh side. The packet has been submitted to the authority.
