Fake currency found, one held at Hatsingmari

DHUBRI, April 10 - In a operation against Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN), police at South Salmara Mankachar district recently arrested one Nur Mohamad, an inhabitant of Kokradanga village and recovered FICN worth Rs 20,000/- from Supermarket area of Hatsingimari.

Police also informed that a group is active in the bordering districts, that is responsible for illegally importing FICN and circulating them in the Indian markets.
