GUWAHATI, Sept 20 � A three-day Exhibition on Innovative Building Materials (Building Solutions) organised by the Indian Institute of Architects, Assam centre, got under way at the TRP Indoor Stadium (Nehru Stadium Complex) here on Friday.
Member of Parliament Ramen Deka, who was the chief guest on the occasion, formally inaugurated the event in the presence of architects, student architects and exhibitors.
The main focus is on new and innovative materials available today for construction, that consume lesser energy, thus leaving smaller carbon footprint.
Today's highlight included two seminars on �Scope of Transportation Planning� and �Urban Redevelopment � Prospect and Scope�.
