KOKRAJHAR, Nov 10 � Unidentified gunmen shot dead an ex-BLT cadre Moniram Narzary (42), this evening near the R N Dey Cinema Hall in Kokrajhar town.
According to sources, two motorcycle-borne armed youths came and fired upon him from point blank range while he was sitting on a chair in front of a fruit shop near the cinema hall. He died on the spot.
BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary and several other organizations, including the Ex-BLT Welfare Society, have condemned the killing. Tension prevails in Kokrajhar town following the incident.
