ENSF urged to withdraw boycott call

DIMAPUR, Nov 27 � Expressing pain and shock on hearing that the educated youth from Eastern Naga Students Federation have taken a decision to boycott the Statehood Day, Nagaland Governor PB Acharya has appealed to the student body to withdraw the boycott call while assuring to hear and address their genuine grievances.

�This is the day we have to salute our elders who sacrificed and worked hard for achieving the Statehood,� the Governor said. Stating that all the genuine grievances can be addressed in a democracy by proper democratic methods, Acharya also assured to undertake tour of the ENPO areas in the near future.

The ENSF had announced a boycott of Nagaland Statehood Day on December 1 in four eastern Nagaland districts of Tuensang , Mon, Longleng and Kiphire. � Correspondent
