GUWAHATI, Sept 26 � The Minister of State (Independent) for Welfare of the Tribals and Backward Classes of the State Rajiv Lochan Pegu today assured a joint delegation of the Sonowal Kachari organisations that the State Government would soon hold the elections to the Sonowal Kachari Autonomous Council. The delegation comprised representatives of the All Assam Sonowal Kachari Students� Union, Sonowal Kachari National Council and the All Sonowal Kachari Women�s Association, said a press release here.
