JALUKBARI, Jan 28 - The Post Graduate Students� Union (PGSU), Gauhati University, along with the University Law College Students� Union, today burned effigies of Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and State BJP president Ranjeet Dass in front of the University main gate in protest against the attack on AASU activists by BJP workers at Nalbari on Sunday.
The student bodies demanded punishment to the miscreants who pelted stones on AASU activists while they were waving black flags at Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at Ghagrapar in Nalbari district during his visit there.
