SENAPATI, Oct 7 - The Contract Basis Appointed Teachers Association (CBATA) 2011 Autonomous District Council (ADC) Senapati called off its indefinite economic blockade from midnight last. The decision came after a consultation with parents and guardians in a joint meeting held on Wednesday.
The CBATA sponsored indefinite economic blockade along Imphal-Dimapur and Imphal-Jiri road began on the midnight of September 26 against the alleged non-payment of salaries and non-regularisation of their posts.
It, however, warned of resuming the agitation if the State Government continues to ignore its demand.
