GUWAHATI, Sept 26 - East bengal Club of Kolkata handed a 3-0 drubbing to ASEB Sports Club in today�s match of the 64th Bharat Ratna Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi Trophy Football Tournament at the Nehru Stadium here today.
Taking control of the situation from the word go, the Kolkata team opened their account in the fifth minute through South Korean Donghyun Do. Prahlad Roy doubled the lead in the 10th minute an till the break the visitors maintained the 2-0 lead.
After resumption the local boys tried to make a comeback building with some collecting efforts. But their affort went in vain as Yami Longvah netted the third goal for the Kolkata team in the 65th minute. East Bengal completed their engagement in the league phase with all win record.
