GUWAHATI, July 31 Former champions Dynamo Club began their campaign in the Abhisek Motors RG Baruah GSA Super League Footbal Tournament on a winning note.

At the Nehru Stadium here today, Dynamo defeated Gauhati Town Club by a margin of 2-0 goals.

Both the goals were netted by Nigerian striker Onyebi Nandos Ogbomma in the 5th and 58th minutes.

Nandos Nigerian team mate Abraham Goodluck set the ball for him on both the occasions.

Town forwards should blame themselves for not utilising the scoring oportunities on both halfs. But over all it was Dynamo which had distinct domination in the game and should have scored a couple of more goals.

A Division: On the second ground of the stadium, playing a spirited game, Rising XI trounced Maharana Athletic Club 3-1.

Aftab Hussain struck twice in the 41st and 69th minute while Indrajit Sonowal added one in the 56th minute. For Maharana, Mahabir Ekka scored the lone goal in the 63rd minute.
