GUWAHATI, Oct 29: Dibrugarh University emerged champions in the East Zone Inter University Badminton Championship (Men) held at the Gauhati University campus.
In the final played today, Dibrugarh University defeated Durg University, Chhattisgarh 3-0.
Earlier, Dibrugarh beat Mizoram University 3-1 in the quarterfinal while in the semifinal they trounced Gauhati University 3-0. The team members were Iman Sonowal, Surajvan Boragohain, Abhinab Gogoi, Lucas Bora, Aditya Poran Das, Mridupawan Tamuli.
