NORTH LAKHIMPUR, Feb 18 - IAS officer Dr B Jeevan assumed the charge of Deputy Commissioner of Lakhimpur on Friday. He succeeds Barun Bhuyan. A ceremony was held for that occasion to welcome Dr Jeevan at North Lakhimpur where the outgoing DC Barun Bhuyan handed over the charges to him. Development Commissioner Devashish Baishya, ADCs Dr Ashraful Amin and Bipul Kumar Das were also present at the ceremony.
