JAGIROAD, March 19 - Along with the rest of the nation, this year too Jagi Borkhel will organise a Doul Utsav, popularly known as �Fakuwa�, the Festival of Colours at the Auniati Satra branch situated at the historic Jagi Bor-Naamghar under Mayong Circle from March 20 with a four-day-long event.
The celebrations will start with an event named gondh-parba, besides Kolong river in which traditional mesh-daah programme will be completed in the presence of local people on the opening day evening.
Among others, the celebrations include usha-sangkirtan, cleanliness drive, khol-prasanga, naam-kirtan, ayati-naam, ankia-bhaona, holi procession, etc.
