GUWAHATI, Nov 6 - The entire lot of colourful clay diyas (earthen lamps) prepared by the special children of PASS, an organisation of parents for the welfare of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, was purchased by the Guwahati GST Commissionerate as a token of appreciation. The Commissionerate also presented a digital TV set to the special children of PASS, said a press release today.
Meanwhile, as part of the Swachhata Abhiyan, Guwahati GST Commissionerate is organising �Swachh Bharat, Swasth Bharat� campaign during the Diwali season with the theme �Noise and air pollution free Diwali�. Under the campaign, various activities are being undertaken, such as poster-making competition and �Green & Clean Diwali� pledge at schools.
