GUWAHATI, April 9 - The Kamrup Metro district administration has formed teams comprising senior officials to supervise and monitor the smooth conduct of the Rongali Bihu celebrations.
The district has been divided into three divisions for this purpose. The teams will monitor and supervise the structural safety of the Bihu pandals, maintenance of cleanliness and hygiene at the Bihu function venues, provision of drinking water facilities and parking arrangements, electrical and fire safety assessment, traffic management and crowd control measures.
