GUWAHATI, Dec 10 - Demanding immediate repeal of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and release of peasant leader Akhil Gogoi, the Kamrup (Metro) committee of Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) today staged a sit-in-demonstration at Sasal here. The KMSS leadership also announced that they would hold a protest programme across the State on December 12 on the same demands.
