GUWAHATI, Jan 14 The Students Federation of India, Assam State Committee has strongly condemned the delay in the payment to the TET teachers. In a statement, the federation said that only half of the TET teachers serving in the State got partial salaries, while others were still waiting for that.

The State government and its department concerned cannot deprive the teachers of their dues. Though the process of teachers appointment was launched to provide employment to a large number of educated youth and improve the educational scenario in the State, a large number of such teachers are still not sure of their future, said a statement.
