Deborah asked to appear in Court on Nov 14

TURA, Nov 7 � East Garo Hills police today served the Court summons to Social Welfare Minister Deborah Marak and Tennydard Marak for their alleged involvement in the use of militants in the last Assembly elections.

They have been asked to appear before the Court in Williamnagar on November 14 for the hearing of their case.

Deborah herself has maintained a stoic silence and stated that she would fight the allegations made against her and also that it was a very testing time for her and her family.
