SILCHAR, Jan 26 - In an operation, Cachar Police nabbed a notorious dacoit identified as Samser Ali. Ali, along with some other dacoits, had looted cash from some employees of Jatinga Valley Tea Estate who were returning home after receiving their weekly wages, dacoits looted the cash from them.
According to Cachar SP Rakesh Roushan, along with Ali, some more dacoits are also in the police net and a cash amount of Rs 15,000 has been recovered from their possession.
