CPI-M to adopt new political strategy

AGARTALA, Oct 23 � The CPI-M is likely to adopt a new political strategy at the four-day Central committee meeting beginning on Sunday, a party leader said here on Wednesday.

The new political tactical strategy which was drafted in the politburo meetings held on September 10-12 and October 13-14 would be finalised in the Central committee meeting in New Delhi from October 26, a CPI-M leader said.

�After finalising the strategy, programmes and party documents in the four-day meeting, these would be placed before the next party Congress for its endorsement,� the leader told IANS, preferring not to be named.

The leader refused to disclose any details of the new strategy to be adopted at the 93-member Central committee meeting. � IANS
