NEW DELHI, July 19 - The Centre on Sunday said India has one of the lowest fatality rates in the world with four northeastern states of Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram and Sikkim having zero case fatality rate (CFR).
Assam has a CFR of 0.23 per cent.
According to Health Ministry data, the northeastern states have less than one per cent CFR.
Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya and Tripura have a CFR of 0.46 per cent, 0.48 per cent and 0.19 per cent respectively.
